I enjoy shopping… but what I really love is discovering. Unearthing that perfect item. Finding the thing that quietly says, “I get you.”

No, we’re not Disney World—but around here, we’re pretty proud to be that place.

Craig and I wanted our store to be a place that made people happy—a place that brought joy to everyone, regardless of age, income, family situation, or ability. Just a few days before Christmas, we were given another beautiful sign that we had reached that vision.

But this year? We’ve become morning elves. We’re at the store by 5:30–6:00 AM, starting the Santa Sprint with bright eyes, sharp minds, and coffee-fueled holiday spirit.

As she hugged goodbye, she laughed and said, “You two live in a real-life Hallmark movie.”

And honestly… she’s not wrong.

Every Wednesday, we debut something brand new for What’s New Wednesday—most often a never-before-seen fudge flavor, though every so often we fudge-dip something entirely questionable just to see what happens.

For our little customers, the drama is real and the stakes are high! Edible Paper or Magic Liquid Potion Candy? Gummy eyeballs, gummy sharks, or gummy pizza? They circle the store, eyes wide, not wanting to miss a single thing.

I have this fantasy that after we lock up at night, the store goes full-on “Night at the Museum.”

And I swear—just before I flip the last power strip—Winnie-the-Pooh gives me a little wink from his perch atop a Christmas tree.

Music has a way of making a big world feel safe and familiar, just like our little shop on the courthouse square. Living small in a big world means savoring those moments of joy—the right song at the right time, the right taste that brings back a memory, the right sparkle of lights that makes you smile.

The inspiration for our fudge comes from Craig’s Grandma Kate. The inspiration for our windows? That’s all my mom, Tanya.
